A petrochemical manufacturer in southern Taiwan is facing many challenges in material management

Their existing storage methods are mostly traditional storage racks, which results in disorganized material storage, low access efficiency, and inability to effectively control environmental humidity, affecting material quality

In order to improve the efficiency of material management, they decided to introduce a vertical automatic storage system to manage materials in a centralized manner, and meet specific storage conditions.

 

Clients' demands for material management mainly focus on the following aspects:

 
Automation and centralized management         
Client hopes to store a small amount of materials of all sorts in a centralized location to ease management
 
Environment Control 
The material storage environment must be kept at a humidity below 60% to avoid oxidation and corrosion.

 

Shockproof design 

Considering the frequent earthquakes in Taiwan, shockproof measures must be added to ensure storage safety

Improve material access efficiency and reduce labor costs

 

After in-depth planning and discussion between the two parties, we chose to introduce an extra-large 6m vertical automatic storage with the following functions:

24-hour dehumidification system

Install two dehumidifiers to ensure that the humidity in the storage is always maintained below 60%

 

       Fingerprint access system

Improve information security, ensure only authorized personnel can enter the storage, and strengthen material control

Equipped with infrared indicator and LED display to guide the picking position and improve the access efficiency

Add shockproof pads and flexible fixing devices to prevent the storage from tipping over, and install a damage detection system to ensure the stability of the storage
